ABOUT THE GARDEN STROLL
The Midtown Garden Stroll is a free event, open to the general public, and takes place throughout Midtown’s Historic Garden District. The stroll is an outdoor self-guided tour, providing a rare opportunity to experience some of Midtown’s most impressive private gardens. Guests can expect to see formal gardens, casual gardens, fountains, espalier, backyard beekeeping, intricate brickwork, and inspiring ideas for beautiful, fully functional family yards.
Be sure to make time to enjoy our Garden Stroll Market where local artisans will showcase their creations, live musicians will play and a talented Midtown artist will complete a live painting! Tasty bites and drinks are also offered by Atlanta-based restauranteurs. Scroll down for more information as our event market vendors and sponsors are announced!

HELPFUL ANSWERS TO COMMON QUESTIONS
How do we know which homes are participating in the Midtown Garden Stroll?
Guests may pick up a complimentary printed copy of the official event guide on the day of the event at our Garden Stroll Headquarters (located at the Garden Stroll Market on Penn Avenue between 6th and 7th Street). Homes are clearly marked with signs indicating their participation, and homeowners will often be on hand to share their gardening secrets and answer questions about their yard. We will also post a downloadable PDF version of the map of participating homes one-week prior to the event on this page. Check back.
Do we need a ticket to attend?
Nope! This event is completely free, and no registration is required. Just stop by the Garden Stroll Headquarters to grab a copy of the official event guide and then head out to explore at your own pace.
How do we get there? Is there available parking?
The Midtown Garden District has limited public parking. We encourage visitors to use alternative transit options such as rideshare, bicycles, scooters, or the old reliable – walking.
If you choose to drive, please be aware that our Historic Garden District has residential parking permit areas which require a city-issued permit to park in. If you are able to find a non-RPP space, please be mindful not block neighbor driveways. To find nearby public deck spaces, you can use websites like Parking Panda and Spot Hero to check availability and pricing.
Please be mindful of where you park you car or scooter and do not block neighbor driveways.
