The City of Atlanta’s Development Review Committee (DRC) for Special Public Interest (SPI) Zones 16 & 17 meets monthly to review building proposals in the Midtown Improvement District (“the high-rise section”). The DRC is composed of shareholders of the Midtown Neighborhood including the MNA, residents, business owners and institutions. The Midtown Alliance serves as the administrator of the DRC.
If you are interested in big projects happening in the MID, you are invited to listen to these monthly meetings. Normally, the meetings are held in the 999 Peachtree Building. However, they are running virtual until further notice for COVID-19 compliance. If you would like to get a link to observe the meeting, fill out this form.
If you have questions after the meeting, please feel free to reach out to our MNA Land Use Chairman, Carmen Stan, who represents MNA on the DRC.
