Atlantic Station is pleased to announce a new weekly program - the Station Stroll - for moms, dads, and caregivers. Every Wednesday moms and their children in strollers are invited to meet in Central Park for a walk through Atlantic Station. Socializing begins at 9:30 am and the stroll begins at 10:00 am. Mommy + Me is weather permitting!

The Midtown Parents Group has recently partnered with the MNA's Safety
Committee and the MPSA to address neighborhood questions and concerns
regarding sex offenders and child safety. The Georgia Bureau of
Investigation (GBI) maintains an online Sex Offender Registry that makes
information publicly available, and searchable by zip code. The website
reads: A sexually violent offender is a person who is convicted of a
criminal offense against a victim who is a minor or who is otherwise
convicted of a sexually violent offense. Sex offenders who have been
released from prison, placed on probation, parole, or supervised release
after July 1, 1996, must register.
MPG invited the Prevent Child Abuse Georgia (PCA Georgia) organization
to speak at the May Safety meeting. Pam Brown and Sally Thigpen spoke
to educate participants on Child Safety and touched on several of the
many aspects involved. They also provided everyone with a packet full
